Media Boo

Media Boo is a desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux that lets teams on the same Wi-Fi or office network share and browse each other's files, with no cloud, no cables and no flash drives.

Why we built it

Moving files between colleagues in the same room should be simple. Yet teams still pass flash drives around, hunt for cables or upload large files to the cloud just to download them again a few metres away. Media Boo keeps sharing on the network you are already on.

How it works

• Install Media Boo on each computer. It is free for macOS, Windows and Linux.
• One computer hosts, and the host approves who joins.
• Everyone shares one public folder that the others can browse.
• Files move directly between computers at network speed, and nothing goes to the cloud.

Who it is for

Offices, studios, schools and any team that shares files every day on the same network.
